LHDN wanted to Audit me, Don't have Receipts, Need advice
In this seminar, KPMG provides a platform for the taxpayers to hear from Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) on the SVDP. Some of the key takeaways that LHDN can address during the seminar will include: What can be disclosed under the SVDP?.Registration fee is inclusive of SST and refreshments.
Hi /r/Malaysia, Using a throwaway for obvious reasons.
I had received a letter from LHDN for an Audit and requested my receipts for last year.
Heres the issue, I am a receipt hoarder but early this year I moved house. I had a majority or almost all my receipts being thrown away.
I made significant purchase last year with books (lots of it), exercise machine and medical for parents & received around RM 3k back from LHDN. I still have the good bought.
I direly need advise on what are my liabilities and what shall I do? Will they raid my house or freeze my accounts?
I am not earning much and honestly, this is the first time I received anything more than RM 500 for my claims.
I also read online that normally audits happen after a compliant? Is this true?
